The Flagler County Free Clinic, which is celebrated its 10th year, provides quality medical care to those in need who are without health insurance.
Raised in 2015
2015 Gala Beneficiary was the Flagler Free Clinic
In 2015, The Florida Hospital Flagler Foundation designated the Flagler Free Clinic as our main recipient. The Flagler County Free Clinic, which is celebrated its 10th year, provides quality medical care to those in need who are without health insurance. Since its founding in 2005, the clinic has become an essential component of Flagler County’s health infrastructure, serving more than 2,000 patients last year.
The Flagler County Free Clinic not only meets a critical need, but its success is a testament to the generosity of its donors and the dedication of its many volunteers. The clinic thrives because our community cares about those less fortunate!
With an eye toward the clinic’s continual growth, the net proceeds from tonight’s Florida Hospital Flagler Foundation’s Moonlit Gala will assist the clinic in its ability to increase patient capacity and continuity of care. These funds will help expand the free clinic services to include fully equipping a women’s healthcare suite and four urgently needed dentals suites, as well as purchasing medications and laboratory tests not currently covered.
The free clinic is also engaged in a collaborative venture with Florida Hospital Flagler Foundation, Florida Hospital Flagler, our county government, and charitable medical specialists throughout the county to create Flagler Cares. Flagler Cares is a county-wide coalition to bring better access to care, increase specialty care and provide other social services to those in need.
